Until the end of the quarter, teachers will post a student’s grades and assignments in PowerSchool as usual so that parents and students can see current standing. At this point, unless we receive additional direction from the State or district, students passing their classes above 65% will receive a passing grade. Passing grades award credit, but do not affect the GPA. If a student does not pass the class, they will receive an NC and will work with counselors to make up any required credit at a later date. The passing grade will not affect college scholarships, entrance applications, military interests, etc. UHSAA has indicated that students interested in participating in an extracurricular activity in the Fall must pass ALL their courses, based on NSSD’s eligibility requirements.
